Mandamus Proceeds Over County Printing Dispute
Defiance county circuit court heard the state’s request to force publication of the county commissioners’ financial report in two papers of opposite politics. The case centers on whether the Hicksville Tribune is a Republican paper with countywide circulation, a finding the court ultimately denied, allowing the writ to compel publication in the Defiance Express and related costs.
