Murphy Loses and Reclaims a Paulding County Horse

Sam Murphy of Paulding county arrived in the city and tied his horse near Vandenbroek Shelly on Fourth street. The horse was found missing at 5:30 p.m. and later located on Perry street by Frank Sapp, then taken to Brown's livery stable for the night. Frank Wade, injured in a Tuesday run away, returned home with a head wound. James Woodward departed for Albany New York to visit family before heading to Massachusetts and returning to Defiance.
