Supreme Court to Hear First Rasor Case on Error Petition
The Ohio Supreme Court granted leave to file a petition in error in the state versus Rasor. Judge Price of Lima granted the motion citing unsettled questions by the court including admission of prior crimes evidence in rape prosecutions and jury charge procedures. Carl March Still Alive After 4500 Volt Shock
A telegram reports Carl March brother of John March of this city remains alive and recovering after a 4500 volt electrical accident in Cincinnati. He climbed a pole to test a feed wire when a short circuit sent extreme current through his body for about thirty minutes. Physicians revived him after he appeared dead and he had been residing in Defiance previously.

Northwestern Telephone to Invest 10000 in Defiance Exchange
The Northwestern Telephone Co. plans a 10000 expenditure in the next months to upgrade the Defiance exchange. New wires poles and connections will modernize the system to handle growing business. A private fifty five telephones exchange will open at Crosby House with a long distance line to Toledo. A copper metallic direct line to Toledo will replace current interchanges to speed service. A construction gang is already upgrading several city lines.
