Theft Report Leads To Narrowing Of Suspect
Officer Dan Shea received a caller from farmer Sites near Ridgeville Corners asking him to watch for a man who stole a bicycle from Sites. A young man named Myers, claiming East Defiance residence, appeared to work on the farm but left with the bicycle about a half hour later. He is described as smooth shaven with corduroy pants. Officers remain on the lookout for the thief.

Isabel Wilson died at her home in Stanley aged 80. The funeral was held from the house Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Lahr officiating. Interment followed at Brinkman Cemetery.

Returned Home After San Antonio Trip
James J. Jarvis came home from San Antonio Texas Sunday morning aboard the Wabash with his wife nurse and brother in law from St Louis. A large group met him at the depot on Holgate Avenue and carried him to his house. Though weak he rested well and has changed greatly in three months away.
