Republicans held a caucus to nominate a Justice of the Peace last Tuesday. Rev N Crary and wife attended Prohibition meeting in Bryan. Lewis Cole bought a new horse after a sudden death. Aaron Hopkins and wife went to Bryan to visit Hon M M Boothman. Hon John L Geyer spoke to Farmer Center about Antwerp reservoir. Thieves abroad while honest people sleep and many articles gone. Republicans urged turnout for November 8 straight-ticket vote.
