The Knights of Labor in Defiance invite patriotic citizens from Defiance and nearby counties to meet at the Court House at 9 30 A M on the fourth then march to the Defiance County Fairgrounds for a program with Harmonic Band readings and patriotic addresses. Admission is free and no intoxicants are allowed.
The B and O Railroad will sell round trip tickets from all stations on the Trans Ohio Division to Pittsburg and to all points on the Columbus and Cincinnati Midland including Cincinnati at one fare. Each bid must name all interested persons and include a guaranty from a disinterested party that a contract will be entered and secured.
