Masonic Celebration at Wauseon Details St John Day

A Masonic celebration and basket picnic in Wauseon on St John day June 24 promises a grand affair. Col J H Brigham directs the march to the fair ground with Defiance Commandery No 30 and Tuenda wie No 19% in leading roles. An afternoon of music short addresses and a grand dress parade at 4 pm on Main street by Toledo and Defiance Commanderies is planned.

One Year Sentence For Grand Larceny Man Memmer

Jacob Memmer was found guilty of grand larceny at the recent term of Common Pleas Court and sentenced to one year in the penitentiary with no solitary confinement. The jury recommended mercy, and the court imposed the lightest sentence the law allows. He was charged only with stealing the orandy. The other case was taken off docket by consent and may be restored, though unlikely.
