One Year Sentencing in Grand Larceny Case
Jacob Memmer was found guilty of grand larceny at the recent term of Common Pleas Court and sentenced to one year in the penitentiary with no solitary confinement. The jury urged mercy, and the judge gave the lightest permissible sentence. The conviction related to stealing brandy. another case was dropped by consent and may be refiled later.
