Deer Park joins county effort to curb encephalitis mosquitoes
Deer Park public works sprays malathion each weekday night to control culex mosquitoes as part of a county wide drive. The effort costs 755 dollars per 50 gallon drum with about 12 gallons used nightly. No encephalitis cases reported. spray will continue while mosquitoes remain a problem.

Two Teens Hurt in Night Crash With Dump Truck
