La Porte Students Enter Co-op Chemical Training Program

La Porte residents Debra Lynn Price and Edmonds Jr. join Lamar University's cooperative chemical engineering program. They will work this summer at Diamond Shamrock in Deer Park and Lubrizol, gaining on the job training in distillation, cracking, and processing as part of a system praised by Lamar leaders and area industry partners for blending classroom study with practical plant experience.
