Deer Park Public Library hunts for volunteers to join its Community Resources File. Call Jane Ulrich at 479-5276 for details. Family films continue with Mind over Body on April 22 7 8 p.m. and Titan: Story of Michelangelo on April 29 7 8 p.m. Free tickets are available at the library.
A small boy received first aid after a head cut and was taken to hospital by private car. A motorcycle crash at Luella required first aid and hospital transfer for possible neck injuries. On April 13 the corps handled a sick call and a two car crash at L Street and Underwood Road, injuring four and requiring a rescue tool to free one victim. Three sick calls followed on April 14 along with two alarms at 1700 block gar after a gas line incident. Club Wednesday, April 23, Bass has taught at several universities.
