Caudle Attends State LWV Meet in Galveston
Loretta Caudle represented the League of Women Voters of Deer Park at the 14th State LWV Council meeting in Galveston March 30 31 with the theme Issues Not Images. The gathering featured Gilbert Carmichael as dinner speaker and panel discussions on issue driven campaigns. More than 150 delegates and visitors attended and Huntsville League was recognized for provisional status while Eastern Bell County Temple and Harrison County Marshall were named new provisional Leagues.

Bullock float estimates big Texas surplus for 1978 79
