A county arrest for peace proceedings was reported today. The Jack and Jill Juvenile Music Club holds a year end picnic Saturday at 10 a.m. at Delano Park.

Car Thief, Baby Killed In Crash

An Air Force enlisted man on leave jumped into a car as its owner went into a filling station and caused a crash that killed at least one of the twin 6 month old girls sleeping in the back seat. Sheriff Walter Nelson identified the suspect as Allen Schweikle of Butternut and the owner as Arthur Herbst of Park Falls. The incident occurred near Glidden Wisconsin.
