White states 1982 marriage figures and divorce ratios

The 1982 projections put marriages at about 160000, the lowest in ten years. The marriages to divorces ratio is about 1 to 62, compared with 1 to 58 in 1931 and 1 to 59 in 1930. Divorce rates have risen steadily with brief setbacks, and annulled marriages in 1932 are expected near 4000, not enough to greatly alter the ratios.
