Body found in Warrior River identified as Georgene Parsley
Coroner Joe Legg of Walker County identifies the body pulled from the Warrior River near Cordova as Miss Georgene Parsley a 39 year old Birmingham woman missing since last Saturday. Two fishermen Dan and Ted Hyde found the body which was identified by dental work and laundry marks. Cordova authorities searched the river after reports a person fell from a trestle and a hat and handkerchief were recovered.

Five Arrested for Using Seine West of Whitesburg
Game warden H. L. Brown and assistants arrested five Huntsville men early today on using a seine to catch fish in the Tennessee river west of Whitesburg. The men were jailed in Morgan county then moved to Huntsville to raise bond and fines. The seizure occurred at 2:00 AM and included several trout in the net.

Funeral Rites Set for Mrs Goldman
Mrs. Lou Goldman, 48, died at her Tanner home Friday afternoon. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Sunday at Austinville Baptist Church with Rev. Bud Bynum officiating. Two automobile accidents in Des catur and vicinity this morning caused no injuries though cars were damaged. A. D.
