Carnation picks Decatur for new milk plant in Tennessee Valley
The Carnation Company selects Decatur Alabama for a new plant location in the Tennessee Valley, taking over the milk supply from Alabama Dairy Products Inc. Farmers are urged to send whole milk to the Carnation operation as the plant will condense and can and sell under the Carnation label. The move aims to boost local dairy prosperity and invites farmers to visit the plant to discuss milk production issues.
