Architect Herman H York presents a four bedroom two story home emphasizing a rear kitchen and family room with a raised living area. The 36 foot long family kitchen complex connects to rear terrace and avoids front view, with foyer with open balustrade stairs and luxury double entry.
The design H-89 splits 1076 sq ft on the first floor into living dining kitchen family room laundry and foyer. Second floor holds four bedrooms and two baths totaling 940 sq ft with cross ventilation in three rooms and a large front double window in one. A basement is included and the garage connects to the laundry and kitchen or terrace. Architect York uses wide roof overhangs and a cantilevered second floor for deep exterior shadows.
Enclosed is 50 cents and 3 cents sales tax for a baby blueprint on design H-89. NAME
The design advocates a restrained exterior with one color plus white. Horizon lines are created by a cornice over the front entrance and adjacent living room. A wide gable and overhangs enhance the overall appearance.
