Seedlings Planted for TVA Forest Habitat Project
Seed is in the ground for 23.5 million forest tree seedlings to be produced this season at TVA nurseries in Clinton Tennessee and Muscle Shoals Alabama. Two million lepsedera bicolor are included under a contract with the Tennessee Game and Fish Commission for farm game habitat improvement. The program aims to improve habitat for farm game and retard erosion on non productive areas between woodlands and fields.
