Petralona Cave in Greece Yield Ancient Human Evidence
Greek anthropologist Dr. Aris Poulianos says Petralona Cave near Salonika contains habitation traces spanning up to 750,000 years with skull, bear bone drilled, fire remnants and early tools. He dates stalagmite over skull at 250,000 to 350,000 years and suggests Petralona Man may rival Heidelberg Man in age.
