Two Persons Dead In Wrecks In Alabama

The last surviving child of a Lawrence County couple was among two killed in area automobile accidents Thursday night. Timothy Bailey Darnell, 17, of Langtown, and Bobby Gene Strickland, 31, of Falkville were killed in separate one car crashes. Darnell died after a 1967 Chevrolet driven by Jimmy Reed Terry, 21, of Langtown, ran off Alabama 33 six miles north of Moulton. Terry and his wife Letha Carol Terry, 19, were in fair condition at Decatur General Hospital with Letha in the intensive care unit. See TWO On Page 10.
