Public Hearing On Gas Company Plan In Three States
The Federal Power Commission will hold a public hearing July 19 on Southern Natural Gas’s request for new facilities in Georgia Alabama and Mississippi. The Birmingham Alabama firm seeks 3 771 760 dollars to build 116 miles of pipeline a 1200 horsepower compressor station at Wetumpka Alabama and other upgrades. The project would raise delivery capacity from 220 000 000 to 254 000 000 cubic feet per day.
