Advertising Council Maintains Long War Effort
For 25 years the Advertising Council has advised the U.S. government and voluntary groups without selling products. It has coordinated campaigns costing about 50 to 60 thousand dollars per client, yielding substantial media space in return. The council backs health, safety, education, and public welfare drives and has issued free booklets on mental retardation since 1964.
