Spur Not On Agenda Opponents Claim
Huntsville hearing on the interstate spur through Limestone County will not cover western end routes opponents say. Dr. Roland Burns of the Alabama Conservancy accuses the Highway Department of mislisting leaders and excluding farmers and Madison businesspeople from testimony. Burns urged opponents to attend a second hearing, likely in the year's second half, to press environmental and noise pollution concerns and challenge government direction to bisect Huntsville downtown.
