The design HW-4 by Lester Cohen features a 1125 square foot main plan with built in garage and a lower level housing a heating plant recreation den and utility laundry plus a grade level garage. The cathedral living room opens to a dining dais and gallery hall while avoiding basements and costly jogs.
The design features an efficient U-shape kitchen with two sided windows and a large front dinette area. It includes a 1125 square foot layout, a big storage alcove near the garage, and a recreation den over 14 by 18 feet with a rear garden terrace through a glass paneled door.
Roger Sloan, 15, attempted to paint a 60 foot flagpole with his father Jack, 47, a steeple jack. A gust of wind caused danger and Roger fled down the pole, saying he will wait a few years.
