Woh Home Habers Fire Causes Heavy Loss
The Human Wohl residence on E Davis Street was badly damaged by fire Saturday night with substantial loss to furnishings. Origin believed in the kitchen the fire was discovered about 7 p.m. Both fire departments fought the flames for nearly two hours before it was under control. Sunday afternoon a grass fire in City cemetery kept units busy for over an hour. A run to S T Long residence at Moulton Street and Ninth Avenue Sunday night found the roof catching from sparks but no damage occurred.

TVA Man Temples Is Discharged From Hospital
James Temples left Benevolent Society Hospital. Three of eight TVA workers injured in the two weeks ago north eye Line highway crash remain hospitalized. Remaining patients are John B. Looney T. J. West and Lonnie H. Brown. Temples went home to Madison Route 3 Sunday.

Three Injured In Sherman Street Car Crash
Three persons were seriously injured in a collision at Sherman Street and Sixth Avenue Saturday night. The car driven by the Rev. Glenn V. Tingley of Birmingham carried his wife and Mrs. Edna Watson. another car held William Lee and Dan Johnson. Mrs. Tingley suffered a deep neck wound and facial lacerations, Mrs. Watson had a knee cut, and Dan Johnson had neck face and hand injuries. Lee was unharmed.
