Washington Feb 20 Opponents of prohibition called a former Missouri senator to support repeal efforts. George H Williams director of the Children Guardians of Delinquency in Youth testified that nullification was a fact to be observed in his territory. He said in St Louis county farmers were blamed for violations by wealthy bootleggers and locals discussed dealings openly. Chairman Kam set a schedule allowing both sides time to be heard and wets will conclude after the dry side testifies.

Mrs Lucila Mead to Speak on International Relations at LWV Luncheon

Hanover admission pockets slaying of 4 year old Horst

Charles Hannah a 61 year old bakery wagon driver confessed to beating Melvin Horst to death on December 27 1928. He claimed the boy Orville disappeared the same day. He slept after the confession but did not say what happened to the body.
