Indictment Of King In Bank Of Ensley Failure
Sam C. King former vice president of the Bank of Ensley and ex member of the state banking board was indicted on three counts by a Jefferson county grand jury in connection with the bank failure early last month. Earl Pricks and W H Smith also were indicted on false entry and embezzlement charges. Fricks and Smith confessed to taking about 300000 to buy real estate. A receiver was appointed for King's estate after depositors petitioned, alleging over 500000 diverted to his use. Grand jury concluded with 133 true bills and adjourned to March 10.

State Education Fund Distribution For 56 Counties
