Geranium School Seeks Alternatives in Lower Manhattan
In a seventh floor space in Manhattan three young teachers Joseph Aprile Warren Benjamin and Laurence Rosenberg opened Geranium School an unaccredited private program. Students aged 12 to 18 study arts biology economics and innovative topics like drugs and the human body with a focus on free dialogue rather than grades. The trio fund the venture with tuition 1500 supplemented by work and care packages while planning salaries around 90 weekly.
