Santa helper Hurt spreads Christmas joy through Decatur
A local man known as Santa, Clyde Hurt, taking a day off from Safeguard Systems Command in Huntsville, visited Decatur schools delivering a spontaneous holiday greeting. He plans to brighten first and second graders and aims to surprise rather than plan, noting older students may doubt but younger ones believe. The escapade mirrors his boss’s seasonal spirit as he roams city streets and elementary doors to share the festive message.
