Christmas Seal sales near the $3,000 mark in our county with a total of 2,972.85 collected so far this morning. The county goal is 4,700 as the TB-fighting seal campaign enters week three after mailing to 17,000 Morgan families. A fire at 5:40 p.m. Yesterday caused by an electric stove showed no loss. The First Presbyterian Church board meets at 5 p.m. to approve the 1957 budget and elect officers.

Airlift Begins Opening Freedom Door
