Farm Vote Signals Backing for New Farm Polices
Officials hailed the Saturday vote on marketing quotas as strong farmer support for federal farm programs. Cotton producers led a broader turnout that backed quotas by about 90 percent, with barley and flue-cured tobacco also voting.
