The WPA project, sponsored by Morgan county and Trinity, will widen bridges and improve the strip linking major roads in Morgan and Lawrence counties. Paving start and project duration are not yet announced.

Arm Shot in Mishap Leaves Woman Missing Arm
Mrs. W N McDugald 24 of Hilleboro route 2 underwent amputation of her right arm at the shoulder after a shotgun discharged at her home yesterday. Her 16 year old stepson Morris was handling the gun when it fired. She was taken to Baugh's Infirmary in satisfactory condition but suffered heavy blood loss and shock. doctors expect recovery.
