More than 1,000 attended the eighth annual Tennessee Valley Horse Show at Benson Field with participation from Alabama Mississippi Georgia and Tennessee. St John s Episcopal Church sponsored and the PTA council handled ticket sales. Decatur riders won two events including the open halter for young colts and walking mare class with Elizabeth Anderson owning all three colts.
