Red Cross helping hand for needy in Decatur area
The Decatur Daily begins a United Way series on Red Cross work aiding military families and community relief. It details aid to a wartime veteran and his wife, VA benefits filing, rent and utility loans, and blood donation drives. The Morgan County chapter reports 518 military family aids, 360 volunteers, and a $41,000 United Way allocation for 1974.
