Man dies in self inflicted gun incident in Chatham
California man George Floyd Doulamis, 20, visiting in Chatham Rt 2, died at 2pm from a hand loaded revolver incident described as self inflicted. Deputy Tom White of the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Department said a juvenile female resident held bullets and he loaded the gun to his head twice before dying. The body lies at Scott Funeral Home.
