Funeral services for John Robert McLaughlin are set for 2 p.m. at Townes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Donald J. McKinney. Interment in Highland Burial Park. McLaughlin, a lifelong Keeling resident and retired farmer, died of a heart attack after a tree-cutting accident. He was born November 23, 1890 in Pittsylvania County. Survived by three sisters and a brother. Body at Townes Funeral Home. family at residence. Ballet at Kennedy Center announced for five weeks with dates listed October through April.
