Alice Jarrett of Castro Valley and Melvin Americh of Alameda set a Sept 15 wedding at St Josephs Basilica in Alameda. The bride is a Chabot College alum and former St Josephs Notre Dame student body president. The groom, son of Mr and Mrs A J Americh of Alameda, is a University of San Diego graduate and an assistant basketball coach for the University team.
Patrice Arbacauskas and Malvin Pepitone wed at the Church of the Resurrection in Sunnyvale. The bride wore a long white organza gown with lace appliques, seed pearl and rhinestone embroidery. Parents are Edewin Arbacauskas of Sunnyvale and the Carrello Pepitones of Dublin.
Leandran and Cathy Nankin Pawlisa unite in a ceremony at Alameda Naval Air Station chapel. The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs Jack Nankin of San Leandro, wore ivory satin with lace applique. Attendants included matron of honor Mrs Michael Hanson and bridesmaids Mrs David Clark Lynette Clements and Donna Pawlisa. Best man Michael Driscoll and ushers Michael McGuire Mr Clark Basil 0 A. A reception followed in the Trident Room. The couple will make San Leandro their first home.

A Hayward dentist Dr Dennis E Lowe claimed Ronnie Yee as his bride at St Johns Presbyterian Church in San Francisco. The bride, an elementary school teacher and daughter of Wing Yee, and groom son of Mr and Mrs Edward Lowe of Sacramento, wed in a formal ceremony. They plan a honeymoon in Hawaii and will reside in Hayward.
