Pleasanton report: Wagenveld, 92, is up and walking at Stanford University Hospital under a physical therapist. A spokesman called his condition satisfactory and said it is early to predict a recovery schedule. Wagenveld became Stanford's 15th transplant patient July 16, with Dr Norman Shumway leading the team. he resides with his wife Ethel and daughter Vicki, a son Lester lives in Las Vegas.
