Great Match Between Jeffries and Sharkey
The boxing world awaits the Jeffries versus Sharkey bout set for late October in New York. Promoters promise a twenty five round world title fight with a purse above fifty thousand dollars, aiming for daytime hours to allow photographs. Jeffries is the quicker, cooler fighter and the favorite, while Sharkey relies on punishment tolerance and hard punching, with both training on separate coasts and plans for big financials if the event is staged on the Pacific Coast or nearby venues.
