Fragmentary ad copy touts Keeley Core as a safe permanent cure for an unnamed craving. Claims over 300000 men and women praise Dr Kee for a Marvelous treatment. Describes cure as gradual and painless with no abrupt withdrawal.
The Pooley murder trial opens as Dr. P J Sherran testifies about March autopsy findings. The bullet penetrated the heart and lodged in the spine, with deaths attributed to heart hemorrhage. Police officers describe the scene, Pooley's nervous state, and accounts of Littlejohn’s confrontation on Montana Street ending in gunfire.
An onlooker on the sidewalk heard three shots and saw smoke from the second. Pooley remained in a near standing posture as the witness grabbed the baby during the final shot. Details are incomplete and the sequence ends abruptly.
