Sunrise mine bond to be taken up after new hoisting plant
W D Bohn, Sunrise Mining superintendent, with A J McKay, arrived in town to discuss renewing the English bond on the Sunrise mine near Whit. The mine, owned by Ishight Bros and Hen Minor with ex Sheriff Haines of Madison County, is bonded to an English company for 140000. Bricker’s former 1/5 interest, sold two years ago for 250 at sheriff’s sale, could now be worth about 30000. Bohn reports strong development with a deep double compartment shaft and a new hoisting plant, and London reports to the directors may prompt bond renewal.
