Leamy Chosen New High School Principal Succeeding McKay
At a board of education meeting assistant city clerk P J Leamy was elected unani mously to replace J G McKay as high school principal with a salary of 140 dollars monthly. Miss Mayrne also resigned from teaching French. Bids for painting Washington high school were opened with Graves Paint company awarded the contract. The board discussed opening Aluminum street, Venetian window blinds, and decorating interiors. Superintendent Hendricks announced rules ready for printing and the need for school telephone service and a private office. Occupancy near Atlantic street school was slated with plans for a retaining wall and cost estimate. The board adjourned.
