Load of Recuits Delayed for Transport to Manila

The Morgan City transport voyage with a load of recruits is postponed from today to Thursday for alterations. The St. Paul will carry about 150 recruits from the Presidio to Seattle for the 34 cavalry under First Lieut Andrew F Williams who will command and serve as quartermaster and commissary. After loading, the St. Paul sails to Manila. The Siam will be ready to sail on the 15th and the Senator with troops around the same time.
