In November 1922 an immense earthquake devastated Copiapo Chile half the town destroyed hundreds killed and 85000 left homeless. Eighteen hours before the disaster cats grew uneasy wandering the streets and fleeing their homes to a hill above town. observers suggested they warned of the coming quake.
