Thanksgiving Baskets Distributed By Local Groups
Seventy groups of residents prepared and distributed baskets of food to needy families on Thanksgiving Day. Women delivered 13 baskets to as many homes, each basket including a chicken from nearby farmers, plus butter coffee sugar jelly canned fruit apples potatoes pies bread and vegetables. Runaway Buggy Injures 6 Year Old Near Cres ton
Maxine Snyder six year old daughter of Mr and Mrs W A Snyder living on a farm north of Cres ton suffered a fracture of one leg when the buggy she rode in set in a runaway.
