The Rev Dr William P Davis a leading Methodist Episcopal minister in the New Jersey conference and former pastor of the First M E Church New Brunswick died at his Camden home after an intestinal operation. He had suffered since last Friday and passed away following the procedure.

Funeral of William Gee in Rahway
The funeral of William Gee of Rahway occurred Friday morning with burial in the Second Presbyterian cemetery. Gee died suddenly Tuesday while at his office. He was a railroad engineer for fifty years and is survived by his widow Jennie Disbrow and their daughter Ethel Gee. Jennie’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Horatis Disbrow of Cranbury.

Fire Destroys Farm Buildings in Hightstown Area
A fire tore through S. Jones Dey’s outbuildings near Hightstown last Friday morning. Four horses a mule several calves and hay and grain were lost losses partly covered by insurance. The blaze started between 3 and 4 am as Dey headed to New Brunswick with fruit. Hightstown Engine Co No 1 fought the blaze and saved the wagon house and other small structures.

The Norfolk and New Brunswick Hosiery Company of New Brunswick admitted insolvency in a U S District Court filing against Catlin & Company for 12331.
