Griggs Petty Couple Wed in Dayton New Jersey
On Wednesday at noon in Dayton New Jersey Miss Carrier Petty daughter of Mr Ellison Petty wed David H Griggs son of Mrs Catherine E Griggs. The ceremony was led by Rev Charles Everett with Rev J B Clark assisting. Honeymoon planned to Washington Florida and other southern points. They will reside in a new Dayton home after return. Mrs Catherine E Griggs will host a reception on November 11.

Death of Samuel Phares a Waterbury Resident
James Phares travels to Waterbury Connecticut upon the death of his uncle Samuel Phares born in 1843 Pennsylvania. Samuel served with the 55th Massachusetts Volunteers and later worked at Plume Atwood's brass foundry in Waterbury where he married Anna Phares. Funeral held Monday at his residence and interment followed at Brainard Cemetery Cranbury with a brief grave service by Rev. J. 8. Curry. He leaves a widow Anna Phares.

The Trenton Chamber of Commerce will convert Suburban Trade Day into an annual event on the last Friday of each month. Merchants in the Promotion Fund will offer special prices and advertise with a brown and gold Suburban Trade Day emblem. Plans include free transport from nearby towns and added incentives for out of town shoppers.
