Obituary: Spafford P. Stults Dies at 80 in Pleasant Hill
Spafford P. Stults died at his Pleasant Hill home on Saturday afternoon aged 80 after a period of illness due to age and heart trouble. He lived near Dayton most of his life as a farmer and leaves a widow. A child Mrs. Fred Reed preceded him in death. Funeral service was held Tuesday at his home with Rev. Frederick Schweitzer of the Second Church officiating and burial in the Second Church cemetery under A. S. Cole, Son & Co. supervision.

Addison Heron Dies by Self Inflicted Shooting After Losses
Addison Heron, 51, a farmer near Robbinsville, killed himself at the rear of Ira W. Wood’s home in Trenton after his mother’s death and a barn fire caused financial ruin. He left home Saturday and was sought by friends Harry B. Taylor and Percy Pellet before the incident. He left a wife and one daughter.
