Estate Letters Granted to Perrine Family in Cranbury

The administration of Mary B. Perrine’s estate, valued at 12000 dollars, was granted on Tuesday to David J. Perrine of Piccataway Township and J. V. Perrine of West Windsor. Arthur Perrine of Cranbury and Jane M. P. Dey are named as siblings in the will. Christmas committee named for Second Church Sunday school entertainment on December 23 includes E. Barclay, F. Schweitzer, Earl Wilson, O. P. Emmons, Mary Hughes, Mary Spaulding, Olive Petty, John Stonaker, Ernest Stults, and Clendon Danser.

Flivver Trap Clears Grasshoppers In Thayer County

Farmer Fred Hawking attaches a vacuum-like trap to his Ford to sweep up grasshoppers as his car moves at up to 40 mph. The device covers a 30 foot swath and has cleared 500 acres of alfalfa, yielding about 1500 pounds of grasshoppers.
