Lace Theft Hits Hightstown Plant at Night
Lace valued between 500 and 1000 dollars was stolen from the Hightstown Manufacturing Company. Thieves entered through a rear window and likely loaded the goods into an auto truck in the lumber yard. No trace of the culprits has been found and owners Friedman and Shapiro of New York have investigated.

Fifty Years Celebrated by Mount Holly Ladies Missionary Society
The Ladies Foreign Missionary Society of the Presbyterian church in Mount Holly marked its fiftieth anniversary on November 11. Adjacent auxiliaries from Riverton Delanco Beverly Burlington Moorestown and Bordentown attended. Miss Mary Budd reviewed the group's history and progress while Miss Margaret E. Hodge, head of the National Woman's Board, spoke on fifty years of foreign mission growth. A birthday cake ceremony featured Oriental costumed youths presenting the offering, which totaled 173.57 dollars.
